Instead of buying somehting new, one can take an old piece of clothing or buy it second. The Salvation Army sponsors Do Redo by donating old sweaters they can't sell. We wash the sweaters in hot water. Then we slaughter them and transform into new forms and uses. Cut, tear, sew together, knit, emproider, applique, crochet - everything is allowed!
